Key facts
What you'll do
- Install kitchen cabinets, countertops, and related remodeling products according to Mad City Windows & Baths standards and procedures.
- Apply finish carpentry work, including trimming, molding, and other detail work needed for each project.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners at the conclusion of each installation to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Obtain homeowner signatures and approval to authorize final payments, ensuring a smooth project closeout.
- Complete detailed carpentry and installation checklists with homeowners, verifying that all work meets quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment during each project, adhering to safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of installations, managing your schedule efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation, including adjustments or repairs needed to meet quality standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure personal and team safety on-site.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, professionally, and courteously with homeowners.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during installation.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials and tools at the job site, ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings to stay current with company policies and installation techniques.
- Support the company's mission by representing the brand professionally and delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ensure that all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve installation processes and customer experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of remodeling, carpentry, or construction experience.
- Experience with kitchen cabinet installation and/or refacing is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain work processes and address customer questions.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, instructions, and specifications.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and tools safely.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites in Raleigh, NC.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity.
- Good organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
