About the role
You will own the full training lifecycle for production teams, designing and delivering both initial and ongoing sessions that elevate skill levels and ensure consistent high performance. You will supervise the daily execution of training workflows, track individual and group progress through detailed evaluations, and adjust development plans to close capability gaps. You will oversee end-to-end installation of showers and walk-in baths, partnering closely with installation crews to uphold safety, quality, and strict adherence to project plans and manufacturer specifications. You will analyze job sites before work begins, diagnose issues during installation, and guide troubleshooting to prevent delays and rework. You will mentor and motivate production personnel, bringing out their best through coaching, clear feedback, and structured development opportunities. You will collaborate directly with Install Managers and Service Managers to align training priorities with operational needs and service standards. You will maintain meticulous records of assessments, training completions, and compliance documentation for every team member assigned. You will represent the training function in cross-functional discussions, ensuring that everyone understands goals, standards, and the interdependencies that drive successful project outcomes.

- Embed safety procedures into every training scenario, verifying that teams understand and apply protocols correctly before live work.
- Inspect teams for proper tools and equipment, delivering hands-on instruction on correct usage, handling, and maintenance.
- Unlock individual potential by designing coaching moments, development plans, and motivational practices that improve confidence and output.
- Partner with the Install Manager to identify installers requiring re-training, then structure targeted interventions based on service records or leveling requirements.
- Facilitate in-house training sessions for both initial onboarding and continuous skill-building, translating complex procedures into clear, actionable guidance.
- Coordinate, schedule, and document all required training for production staff, tracking completion and follow-up needs in official records.
- Liaise with Install Managers and the Service Manager to shape instruction, share feedback, and align training topics with real project demands.
- Execute additional assignments directed by the Install Manager to support team readiness and operational flexibility.
- Review project plans, drawings, and job surveys in detail to confirm that every installation will follow design intent and technical standards.
- Confirm job orders contain all necessary materials and components, preventing interruptions or shortages during critical installation phases.
- Conduct thorough pre-job site analyses to identify constraints, risks, and conditions that could affect installation quality or timeline.
- Guide crew members, including employees and subcontractors, to achieve project completion that meets industry, manufacturer, and company benchmarks.
- Perform physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading trucks, hauling materials, and hoisting fixtures and equipment on-site.
- Supervise Technician Assistants, ensuring they maintain a polished, professional presence in customer homes and workspaces.
- Enforce rigorous quality assurance and quality control measures, with a strong focus on health and safety standards at every step.
- Diagnose installation and operational problems as they arise, tracing root causes and testing corrective actions quickly.
- Work alongside installers, plumbers, and electricians to resolve fixture installation issues and correct any deviations from approved plans.
- Analyze problems methodically, selecting appropriate tools and materials to execute reliable repairs without compromising standards.
- Document each problem and the actions taken in written reports, creating a clear audit trail for future reference and continuous improvement.
- Communicate with customers in a professional, respectful, and considerate manner, answering questions and addressing concerns thoroughly.
- Maintain a polished professional appearance that reflects well on the company and supports positive customer interactions.
- Support the training of Technician Assistants, sharing expertise and reinforcing best practices during hands-on activities.
- Demonstrate familiarity with formal and informal goals, standards, policies, and procedures, while recognizing how departments depend on one another.
- Uphold all company policies and procedures in every interaction, ensuring consistency and compliance across all assignments.
- Seek out and participate in training and learning opportunities to deepen knowledge of Renuity products, services, and the Installation Training Lead role.

Requirements
You must possess and demonstrate the following eligibility criteria and hard bars to be considered for this role.
- Experience supervising training or instructional activities in a hands-on, operational environment.
- Proven ability to manage and evaluate personnel, including delivering constructive feedback and documenting performance.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the capacity to enforce them consistently across teams.
- Familiarity with tools, equipment, and inspection methods relevant to installation work in home improvement.
