About the role
This position directs field activities to generate local demand and visibility for remodeling services. The role develops team capability through coaching while acting as a company representative in person. You will own the execution of localized demand generation initiatives that drive awareness and interest in home improvement services within your assigned territory. Success in this role requires you to translate high-level marketing strategies into actionable plans that field teams can implement effectively on the ground. You will be responsible for managing the performance of canvassing operations, ensuring that every interaction with a potential customer aligns with brand standards and business objectives. This role serves as the primary liaison between corporate marketing objectives and on-the-ground field execution, bridging the gap between strategy and reality. You will continuously refine your approach based on real-time feedback and performance data to optimize outreach efforts. Ultimately, you will own the end-to-end process of converting community awareness into scheduled appointments for sales consultations.

What you'll do
Coordinate canvassing operations to ensure coverage of priority neighborhoods and maximize local market penetration.
Develop and implement training programs that elevate the skills of field representatives in communication, product knowledge, and customer handling.
Establish a consistent presence in target communities through organized outreach initiatives and on-site engagement activities.
Monitor campaign performance metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in field execution.
Build relationships with community stakeholders to enhance brand visibility and credibility within the local area.
Adapt messaging and outreach tactics based on audience response and evolving market conditions.
Maintain accurate records of all field interactions to support analysis and future campaign planning.
Collaborate with internal teams to align canvassing activities with broader marketing campaigns and seasonal promotions.

Lead by example through active participation in field activities and a demonstrated commitment to achieving team goals.

Requirements
You must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record suitable for field-based work.
You must be eligible for employment in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship at this time.
You must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Pittsburgh, PA area to ensure effective management of local operations.
You must have access to reliable transportation suitable for traveling between neighborhoods and meeting locations.
You must have a professional appearance and demeanor suitable for in-person customer interactions in diverse community settings.
You must be able to pass a background check as required for roles involving direct public engagement and community presence.
You must demonstrate strong communication skills to convey information clearly to team members and community members alike.
You must be able to follow detailed instructions and adhere to established procedures while managing field activities.
Nice to have
Experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity within a field-based or customer-facing environment.
Prior experience in the home improvement, remodeling, or related consumer services industry.
Familiarity with local Pittsburgh neighborhoods and community dynamics.
Basic understanding of marketing principles and campaign performance measurement techniques.
Comfort with using mobile applications and digital platforms for data collection and communication.
Practical notes
This role requires full-time availability during standard business hours, including evenings and weekends as needed for community engagement.
Travel within the Pittsburgh metropolitan area is required to reach different neighborhoods and community locations.
