- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives and operational priorities.
- Provide expert guidance and support on complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant resolutions.

- Develop innovative HR solutions tailored to the company's dynamic environment, including performance management, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, coaching them through challenging HR situations and fostering leadership development.
- Stay current on employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices to proactively mitigate risks and ensure compliance across all HR activities.
- Influence decision-making by balancing employee experience with operational requirements, ensuring a positive and productive workplace culture.
- Support talent acquisition efforts by advising on hiring strategies, onboarding processes, and retention initiatives to attract top talent in a competitive market.
- Lead initiatives related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an inclusive environment where all employees can thrive.
- Assist in designing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational growth and employee well-being.
- Provide guidance on compensation, benefits, and performance management processes to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Partner with other departments to deliver integrated HR solutions that support business objectives and improve overall organizational effectiveness.
- Represent HR in strategic discussions at the executive level, providing insights and recommendations based on organizational data and trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience, including roles as an HR Business Partner in complex organizations.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, organizational development, and HR principles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and synthesize insights to inform decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments, adapting strategies as needed.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Business-oriented mindset with a solutions-focused approach to HR challenges.
- Independent, proactive, and accountable, demonstrating maturity and sound judgment in complex situations.
- Experience working in a growth-oriented environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the battery, renewable energy, or clean technology sectors.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards, such as ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).

- The salary range for this position is between $155,000 and $178,750 USD, depending on experience and qualifications.
- This role requires on-site presence at Redwood Materials' office in San Francisco, California.
- The position may involve a hybrid work schedule, with three or more days on-site based on business needs.
