About the role
This position serves as a critical leadership role within the corporate finance organization, owning the end to end strategy and execution of treasury operations for Red Ventures. The successful hire will directly manage the full treasury lifecycle, encompassing cash management, forecasting, and global payment processing with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. They will act as the primary owner for treasury policies, controls, and relationships with external banking partners, ensuring the integrity and security of all financial movements. This role requires a proactive mindset to analyze complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights for senior leadership. The individual will be responsible for driving process improvements and establishing a robust framework for treasury operations that scale with the business. They will provide clear direction and mentorship to direct reports, building a high performing and collaborative team environment. This position offers immediate visibility into executive leadership due to the strategic nature of the treasury function.

What you'll do
- Assume end to end ownership of the Treasury function, driving process accountability and operational excellence across all financial institutions.
- Lead, manage, and develop direct report(s) by establishing clear performance metrics, delivering consistent coaching and feedback, and championing career progression within a dynamic team.
- Exercise judgment in reviewing and approving all treasury transactions, including funding wires, cash concentration movements, debt related payments, and other non standard disbursements.
- Serve as the internal expert supporting the resolution of international wire issues, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and banking partners to implement timely solutions.
- Maintain vigilant oversight of banking activity, monitoring for any unusual patterns and coordinating incident response with financial institutions in the event of potential fraud.
- Oversee the weekly cash forecasting process, working in partnership with Accounts Payable to project cash outflows and analyzing variances between actual results and forecasted expectations.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Tax, and Accounting teams to build and sustain comprehensive monthly, 13-week, and annual cash forecasts, presenting detailed results and variance analysis to the leadership team.
- Act as the primary steward for relationships with commercial banking partners, overseeing bank account administration, evaluating new banking solutions, and managing wallet share optimization.
- Spearhead the implementation and oversight of cash management products such as positive pay, remote deposit capture, and merchant services to enhance operational security.
- Work alongside banking partners to analyze and develop sophisticated hedging strategies, including interest rate collar or swap scenarios, to manage financial risk.
- Administer and strengthen treasury controls, focusing on fraud prevention, secure account funding procedures, and rigorous user access reviews to ensure policy compliance.
- Ensure seamless integration and functionality of bank accounts within the ERP system in partnership with the Financial Systems team.
- Conduct detailed analysis of bank fee statements, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and overall efficiency gains within the treasury operation.
- Review and interpret the terms of debt agreements to support broader debt management strategies and guarantee adherence to financial covenant requirements.
- Coordinate with the Tax team to prepare and file Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Act as a key strategic partner with insurance brokers to oversee corporate insurance programs, including renewals, coverage analysis, and comprehensive risk assessment.
- Drive special projects and ad hoc treasury initiatives as they arise, providing flexible support to meet evolving organizational needs.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance as a foundational requirement for this position.
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Banking or Treasury roles, with demonstrable success in a fast paced environment.
- Possess a strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management, and financial controls to execute responsibilities effectively.
- Demonstrate proven ability in managing relationships with multiple banking institutions and negotiating favorable terms.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data and reports.
- Show proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software tools to perform advanced financial analysis.
- Have a solid comprehension of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and ownership.
Practical notes
- Hybrid schedule with work location in South Charlotte, NC Headquarters on Tuesday through Thursday.
