About the role
This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our New York, NY office (Tuesday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week. This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN visa, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define and deliver AI-native products that directly influence customer and agent experiences across the home services ecosystem. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI initiatives, translating complex data science concepts into clear product strategies and execution plans. One of your core missions is to own our AI voice platform, enabling intelligent conversational experiences that drive sales and operational efficiency. You will act as the critical bridge between technical capabilities and business value, ensuring solutions are scalable, measurable, and aligned with client and internal stakeholder needs.

What you'll do
- Identify opportunities to amplify product impact by deeply analyzing the problem space, strategy, and data, then presenting actionable recommendations that drive buy-in and execution.
- Translate strategic insights into concrete work streams and features, collaborating closely with Data Science, Design, and Engineering to build detailed requirements that advance the product roadmap.
- Execute hands-on technical workstreams, including constructing data pipelines for large-scale data gathering, manipulation, and visualization.
- Build and iterate on machine learning models focused on offline analysis and proof-of-concept scenarios to validate approaches before production deployment.
- Design and implement LLM workflows that automate tasks and enable reasoning capabilities for specific product features, leveraging modern language models.
- Take end-to-end ownership of experiments, deploying features aimed at improving core KPIs and conducting rigorous impact analyses to synthesize and own the business narrative.
- Research cutting-edge advancements in machine learning and generative AI to uncover innovative solutions for persistent business challenges.
- Partner with data scientists and engineers to ensure technical feasibility, translating complex methodologies into pragmatic product decisions.
- Utilize advanced statistical analysis to interrogate data sets, surface patterns, and support evidence-based decision-making across the product lifecycle.
- Act as a product expert for AI voice and conversational platforms, ensuring that solutions meet evolving client needs and internal operational standards.
- Contribute to the definition of product vision and success metrics, aligning AI initiatives with broader Home Client Services objectives.
- Champion best practices in product management, documentation, and stakeholder communication to maintain clarity and alignment across teams.
- Support the refinement of product backlogs, prioritizing work based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Assist in the technical validation of point solutions to ensure they integrate effectively within the larger product architecture.
Requirements
- You are legally authorized to work in the United States for the employer, and you are not currently requiring sponsorship for any immigration status (e.g., H1-B, F-1, OPT, STEM-OPT, or TN), nor are you available for corp-to-corp work.
- You possess 1+ years of hands-on data science or advanced analytics experience, or product management experience on an AI/ML consumer-facing application.
- You demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to connect business problems, proposed approaches, underlying data, and recommended actions.
- You exhibit resilience and a proactive learning mindset when navigating challenging projects, unfamiliar technologies, and ambiguous business problems.
- You approach problems as a creative entrepreneur, applying strong business acumen to deliver tangible customer and business impact.
- You are technically fluent, with the ability to understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with data scientists and engineers.
- You have experience working with data-intensive environments, including the ability to build and utilize data pipelines and manipulate large datasets.
- You are comfortable working with machine learning concepts and tools, including model development and evaluation for proof-of-concept scenarios.
- You have familiarity with LLM workflows and prompt engineering principles as they apply to real-world product features.
- You can communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making through clear, concise narratives.
- You are detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You are committed to adhering to company policies, security guidelines, and compliance requirements relevant to AI and data usage.
- You thrive in a hybrid work model, balancing independent remote work with focused in-office collaboration a minimum of two days per week.
