Key facts
What you'll do
- Answer inbound customer calls to discuss various loan products, prequalification criteria, and next steps
- Communicate loan progress clearly to consumers and collect any required documentation in a timely manner
- Make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers to generate new business and strengthen retention
- Guide consumers through the prequalification process, explaining requirements and documenting information accurately
- Enter detailed lead and client information into the company relationship management system to maintain organized records
- Review loan application details and explain conditions, clarifications, and next steps to applicants as needed
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate loan updates and resolve questions during processing and underwriting
- Monitor pipeline status and follow up consistently to ensure moving deals advance according to established timelines
- Adhere to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and quality standards in every client interaction
- Use available resources and internal tools to provide accurate information and support efficient case resolution
- Identify opportunities to improve client communication and document best practices for sharing with the team
- Support special projects related to sales initiatives, product knowledge updates, and training efforts as assigned
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all written and verbal communications with clients and partners
- Demonstrate active listening and empathy to understand client needs and present appropriate loan solutions
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent credential
- Must have the right to work and reside in the United States without sponsorship
- Must be available for full-time work during standard business hours within the specified time zone
- Must pass a background check and meet company compliance standards for financial services roles
- Must be able to verify prior employment history for the previous 36 months
- Must have a consistent record of punctuality and reliability in previous roles
- Must demonstrate clear verbal and written communication skills suitable for professional client interactions
- Must be comfortable using computers, internet applications, and remote collaboration tools on a daily basis
- Must be able to follow detailed procedures and accurately complete assigned documentation
- Must pass a drug screen as part of the hiring process if requested
- Must be coachable and willing to participate in structured training and performance improvement activities
- Must maintain client confidentiality and comply with all applicable financial regulations and company policies
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a sales, customer service, or financial services environment
- Familiarity with mortgage terminology and the home loan process
