The Director of Account Management serves as a strategic leader for utility clients. You own the strategic narrative and long term momentum for key accounts. This position blends visionary thinking with hands on execution. Your primary mission is to drive retention, expansion, and innovation across a portfolio of utility partners. You will guide teams and shape account strategies while building executive level relationships.
Key responsibilities
You will define and execute forward looking account strategies aligned with utility industry trends and client objectives. This involves building roadmaps that produce measurable outcomes. You will implement structured account planning frameworks. This work is intended to drive consistency, scalability, and cross account revenue opportunities.
Leading people is central to this role. You will manage a team of account managers. Your focus will be fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning. Actively developing talent is a core duty. You will raise performance expectations and coach for growth. Building capability in less tenured team members is a priority. You will allocate and prioritize team resources effectively. The goal is to maximize impact across the portfolio.
Partnership is a key theme. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across product, sales, and operations. This collaboration creates integrated value for utility partners. You will oversee and grow a portfolio of strategic utility accounts. Driving strong retention, expansion, and solution innovation are core outcomes. Leading Quarterly Business Reviews is a responsibility. You will communicate performance, insights, and future opportunities to partners.
You will own and develop executive level relationships within utility organizations. This role serves as a trusted advisor and senior representative. Influencing senior stakeholders is required. What we seek

You can influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across cross functional partners. Translating strategy into execution through clear direction is essential. Compensation and benefits
Total Cash Compensation for this role ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 per year. This figure is based on location, experience, and qualifications. This role is eligible for a target bonus. The target bonus is included in the Total Cash Compensation range. Equity is also available. Equity is offered separately from the Total Cash Compensation range.
