As a Product Owner at Bamboohr, you will play a crucial role in driving the development and enhancement of our product offerings. What you'll do

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to stakeholders and team members, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer feedback, and technical feasibility, ensuring that the most valuable features are delivered first.
• Work closely with development teams during the sprint planning process to clarify requirements and provide guidance on user stories.
• Facilitate regular meetings, including sprint reviews and retrospectives, to ensure continuous improvement and effective communication within the team.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for product differentiation and enhancement.
• Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to inform future development and iteration cycles.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates on product progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
• Ensure that the product aligns with industry standards and best practices, maintaining a high level of quality and usability.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional materials for product launches.
• Support the sales team by providing product knowledge and assisting in the development of sales tools and resources.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the team, encouraging creative problem-solving and experimentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in product management or product ownership, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile teams.
• Proven ability to translate complex concepts into clear and actionable user stories.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.

Nice to have

• Experience in e-commerce or SaaS product management.
• Knowledge of web and mobile development processes.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and methodologies.
• Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner).
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-growing company environment.
