What you'll do
Investigate and analyze the operational needs of prospective organizations to uncover scalable solutions that address business challenges. Champion the full portfolio of services, including consumer fulfillment, material distribution, commercial printing, and packaging, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Architect customer-specific programs that leverage core competencies while responding to evolving business requirements and market dynamics. Interpret market challenges and translate them into defined capability needs for internal operations teams to execute effectively.
Engage with executive-level decision makers across the prospective customer organization to build influence and consensus. Initiate contact through cold calling at multiple levels within target companies to penetrate organizations and uncover hidden opportunities. Maintain rigorous contact lists, call reports, weekly reports, and sales funnel tracking information to ensure visibility and pipeline integrity. Create compelling sales materials and discussion topics while actively executing against RFP and RFI processes to respond to formal procurement requirements.
Represent the company at industry associations and trade shows to strengthen brand awareness and establish thought leadership. Absorb 15% travel as part of the standard engagement schedule to support client meetings and market activities. Qualify leads and assess fit to ensure resources are focused on the highest probability opportunities. Document every interaction to maintain continuity and enable seamless collaboration within the sales process. Collaborate with internal teams to refine messaging and service alignment, and monitor the competitive landscape to adjust strategies and maintain market position. Support special projects related to demand generation and market expansion initiatives.
Requirements
Must possess legal ability to work in the United States without sponsorship. Hold a high school diploma or GED, supplemented by vocational training or equivalent on-the-job experience as outlined in the job qualifications. Demonstrate a proven track record of finding, developing, and winning large-scale programs in complex sales environments. Show a minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, sales, marketing services, or supply chain services, with a focus on solution selling and closed-loop sales execution.
Have proven experience with phone-based cold calling techniques and proactive prospecting across diverse stakeholder groups. Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills when engaging with C-level executives, operations leaders, and cross-functional partners. Display strong persuasion and influencing skills to guide complex sales cycles and navigate multi-threaded decision-making processes. Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills for all interactions, including executive briefings, proposal development, and documentation. Follow a strong process orientation and exercise strict discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and opportunity tracking.
Apply strong analytical skills to evaluate opportunities, model outcomes, and support data-driven decision-making. Work independently with a high level of integrity and minimal supervision, demonstrating ownership of results and accountability for performance targets. Operate PC systems with proficiency and mastery of Microsoft Office applications to support productivity and reporting requirements. Adhere to company policies and compliance standards in all professional interactions, ensuring ethical conduct and professionalism.
