About the role
You will own the full end-to-end process of identifying and engaging ecommerce brands that are poised to grow through SMS marketing, acting as the critical first point of contact for Postscript. This role requires you to champion our mission of making SMS the number one revenue-driving channel for brands by showcasing how our AI-powered platform delivers tangible results. You will be responsible for building a targeted account list and initiating creative outreach sequences designed to spark interest and generate pipeline. Your work will ensure a seamless transition of qualified opportunities to our Account Executives, maintaining momentum and deal velocity. You will leverage data and technology to research prospects and refine your approach continuously, representing Postscript as a trusted advisor from day one. Success in this role means you directly influence the company's growth trajectory by converting initial interest into a robust sales pipeline. You will operate with ownership and curiosity, using every interaction to learn and improve your methodology.

- Consistently achieve and exceed your personal quotas for generating qualified new business opportunities and booked meetings.
- Utilize advanced research methodologies and technology stacks to map out decision-makers and uncover hidden buying signals within target organizations.
- Professionally articulate the value proposition of Postscript's AI messaging platform, clearly explaining the return on investment for ecommerce operations.
- Maintain rigorous standards for response times, follow-up cadences, and communication consistency to ensure a premium prospect experience.
- Accurately log every interaction, note, and insight into Salesforce CRM to maintain an up-to-date and reliable sales pipeline.
- Establish foundational trust and rapport with prospective customers, setting the groundwork for long-term success and partnership with Postscript.
- Continuously synthesize feedback from customer conversations to inform your messaging and positioning strategies.
- Collaborate closely with the Go-to-Market team to iterate on campaigns, refine target segments, and improve the overall sales methodology.
- Leverage AI-enhanced personalization to analyze public data points, such as LinkedIn activity and tech stack shifts, to craft highly relevant outreach at scale.
- Employ workflow automation and AI-powered sales tools to reduce manual administrative burdens, allowing more time for strategic research and live conversations.
- Qualify leads rigorously using defined criteria to ensure only high-intent prospects are passed to the Account Executive team.
- Track and analyze your outreach metrics daily, adjusting strategies based on open rates, reply rates, and engagement patterns.
- Serve as the voice of the customer, relaying insights and competitive feedback to internal stakeholders to influence product and marketing decisions.
Requirements
- 1+ years of B2B sales development experience, preferably in a SaaS, marketing technology, or a related domain.
- Experience with a portfolio of sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Sales Navigator, or Gong.
- You possess a natural ability to build rapport and make initial connections with people effectively and confidently.
- You pay exceptionally close attention to details and approach tasks in a highly organized and solution-oriented manner.
- You are actively developing your ability to prioritize activities and think strategically about engaging with different businesses and stakeholders.
