About the Role
This position exists to accelerate Pomelo's health plan partnership pipeline. The Manager, Growth drives research, operational rigor, and deal support. The role reports to the VP of Growth and is open to candidates located in the continental US. You will own the end-to-end pipeline for health plan opportunities from initial discovery to closed deal. A core part of this role is converting complex information into clear narratives that resonate with executive stakeholders. You will prepare meticulously for customer meetings by researching stakeholder context and tailoring pitch decks. Building leadership briefing documents is an expected part of your daily responsibilities to ensure internal alignment. After every interaction, you synthesize key takeaways and own the subsequent follow-up actions to maintain momentum. You drive deals forward through a combination of internal coordination and proactive external outreach to unblock progress.

What you'll do
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to analyze prospective partners and health plan priorities.
- Deliver actionable intelligence to the team by using existing data and resources to identify strategic opportunities.
- Structure financial models and pricing scenarios to guide commercial and Medicaid line decisions effectively.
- Navigate insurance coverage rules to clarify requirements for each line of business and mitigate risk.
- Own the end-to-end pipeline for health plan opportunities, ensuring accuracy in sourcing and forecasting.
- Maintain CRM hygiene and ensure data integrity to support reliable forecasting and reporting.
- Convert complex information into clear, compelling narratives for executive and client consumption.
- Prepare for customer meetings by researching stakeholder context and tailoring pitch decks to specific needs.
- Build leadership briefing documents that consolidate critical information for high-stakes discussions.
- Synthesize key takeaways after meetings and drive follow-up actions to propel deals forward internally and externally.
- Collaborate closely with Partnerships and Marketing to develop pitches, conference materials, and case studies.

Requirements
The ideal candidate has 2-4+ years in client-facing or analytical roles. Management consulting experience is strongly preferred and provides a strong foundation for this position. You bring 2+ years of healthcare experience or the ability to quickly master complex domains, such as payer dynamics and value-based care. You operate as a structured thinker, organizing unclear problems into clear, sequential steps that lead to solutions. Thriving in a fast-paced, metric-driven setting is essential for success in this role. You handle hands-on tasks eagerly without hesitation, demonstrating versatility and a strong work ethic. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required across all audiences. You produce high-quality slides and synthesis for both internal teams and external partners. You are eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship for this position. This role is explicitly remote-capable within the continental US only. You commit to the operational discipline needed to maintain data accuracy in a dynamic environment.
