Corporate General Interest
Job description
About the role
Placemakr Career Opportunity: Corporate General Interest
Placemakr defines a new standard for living. We merge the privacy of apartments, the flexibility of rentals, and the service of hotels into a single, cohesive experience. We work alongside developers, property operators, and investors to assemble thoughtfully selected neighborhoods. Our tech-enabled buildings deliver unique guest stays and enhance the value of the real estate itself. Every stay, whether brief or extended, is designed to feel like a genuine home rather than a temporary location.
Our organization depends on the contributions of both property and non-property teams. Property teams concentrate on on-site execution and resident satisfaction. Non-property teams focus on platform evolution and operational support, often with remote-first flexibility. This structure allows for location independence, provided there is access to a workspace and reliable connectivity. Collaboration remains central, supported by biannual in-person meetings for remote and property staff across the United States. We are currently expanding and seeking cooperative, ambitious professionals to join our efforts.
This specific role is a Corporate General Interest position. Individuals in this role take full ownership of guest living concepts from initial contact through final implementation. The position requires blending residential comfort with professional service and flexible booking options. Team members work in partnership with roles in both property and non-property divisions to reinforce each building's success.
Key responsibilities include creating unique neighborhood concepts that respect local culture and guest needs. You will coordinate arrival experiences and daily resident schedules to ensure seamless transitions and transparent information sharing. Analyzing property performance metrics and guest input allows for continuous, data-driven refinements over time. You will work with developers and investors to ensure building features align with current market demand. The role involves launching digital tools and physical interactions that maintain a consistent experience for every guest. You will oversee maintenance procedures to resolve issues quickly and minimize guest disruption. Planning regular in-person events helps connect remote colleagues throughout different areas of the US. You will uphold brand uniformity while giving property teams the freedom to adjust details for regional tastes.
Candidates must bring a minimum of three years of experience from hospitality, real estate, or similar industries. The ability to manage complex projects and changing priorities while keeping clear records is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required when interacting with varied partners and residents. Proficiency with standard computer applications and internal platforms is necessary to perform assigned duties.
Previous experience in development, operations, or property management is strongly preferred when present. No specific software tools are mandated for this role, but a quick learning curve is necessary. Compensation for this position ranges from 160,000 to 180,000 USD. Engagement for this role is remote-first, requiring only a dedicated workspace and dependable internet access.
Please review the official application page for the most current details.
