What you'll do

• Lead the product development lifecycle for billing solutions, from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements and specifications that meet business objectives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features within the billing domain.
• Develop and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes initiatives based on customer feedback, business impact, and technical feasibility.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing products, analyzing data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product concepts, and ensure that solutions meet user needs.
• Manage relationships with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party billing solutions and services as necessary.
• Facilitate cross-departmental communication to ensure all teams are aligned on product goals, timelines, and deliverables.
• Prepare and present product updates and performance reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Champion the adoption of best practices in product management, including agile methodologies and user-centered design principles.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies that could impact billing processes and strategies.
• Mentor junior product team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, specifically within billing or financial technology sectors.
• Proven track record of successfully launching and managing billing products or services.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
• Familiarity with agile product development methodologies and tools, such as Jira or Trello.
• Experience with billing systems, payment processing, and subscription management is highly desirable.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in the media, publishing, or digital content industries.
• Knowledge of international billing practices and regulations.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Tableau.
• Previous experience working in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment.
• Understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and their application in product development.

• Proficient in product management software and tools, including roadmapping and project management platforms.
• Strong understanding of billing and payment processing technologies.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
