What you'll do
- Collaborate with the production team to conceptualize and develop engaging video content that aligns with Pencor's brand vision and marketing strategies.
- Operate video cameras and other equipment to capture high-quality footage during various projects, events, and promotional activities.
- Edit raw video footage using industry-standard software to create polished final products, ensuring that the content meets the company's quality standards.
- Work closely with directors and producers to understand the creative direction and objectives of each project, contributing ideas and insights to enhance the final output.
- Conduct interviews with team members, clients, and stakeholders to gather testimonials and insights that can be incorporated into video content.
- Manage the organization and archiving of video files and assets to ensure easy access for future projects.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in videography and video editing techniques, continuously seeking ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of our video content.
- Assist in the planning and execution of video shoots, including scouting locations, setting up equipment, and ensuring that all logistical aspects are covered.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote video content across various platforms, including social media, websites, and email campaigns.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for video projects that can enhance audience engagement and brand recognition.
- Ensure compliance with copyright laws and licensing agreements when using music, graphics, and other media in video productions.
- Provide feedback and constructive criticism to peers during the editing process to foster a collaborative and creative working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a videographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in video production and editing.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications.
- Familiarity with various video camera equipment and accessories, including lighting and sound equipment.
- Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to convey messages effectively through visual media.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work that aligns with brand standards.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and their video content requirements.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to various shoot locations.
Nice to have
- Experience in live streaming or broadcasting events would be a plus.
- Familiarity with motion graphics and animation software such as Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for video content to enhance online visibility.
- Previous experience in a corporate or commercial setting is advantageous.
