In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that enhance patient engagement and improve clinical outcomes within oncology practices. You will serve as a key liaison between the organization and major oncology networks and GPOs, ensuring that our solutions meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers and patients. This role offers an to influence the growth of digital health solutions in oncology, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive strategic partnerships and business expansion. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in healthcare account management, particularly within oncology, and possess a strong ability to foster long-term relationships with key stakeholders.

What you'll do
- Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and oncology networks, ensuring alignment with PatientPoint's strategic objectives and growth plans.
- Collaborate directly with the EVP of Commercial GPO & Oncology Development, as well as other members of the C-suite, to develop strategies that strengthen relationships with assigned GPOs and key oncology networks.
- Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients and influential network stakeholders, maintaining and nurturing ongoing relationships to foster trust and collaboration.
- Partner with the Commercial Oncology Vertical team, including development specialists, to manage client accounts effectively and identify opportunities for expansion.
- Develop comprehensive long-term marketing and engagement strategies with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers and organizational leaders, to increase awareness and utilization of PatientPoint's products and services.
- Support clients through virtual meetings, in-person visits, and presentations, providing tailored solutions that address their specific needs and challenges.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review and refine quality objectives, marketing initiatives, and success metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare and deliver customized presentations that clearly communicate the value propositions of PatientPoint's solutions, addressing the unique goals of each oncology practice or network.
- Communicate product updates, new features, and benefits to clients, managing their expectations and ensuring they are well-informed about available tools and services.
- Lead internal initiatives to ensure client success, including coordinating with sales, marketing, and support teams to deliver service and support.
- Perform quarterly business reviews with client executives to evaluate performance, discuss opportunities, and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze utilization metrics, service quality data, and client feedback to generate insights that inform strategic decisions and improve service delivery.
- Identify new growth opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with sales and implementation teams to execute expansion strategies effectively.
- Engage with internal support teams to facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Monitor industry trends and stay informed about developments in digital health and oncology to bring innovative ideas and solutions to clients.
- Represent PatientPoint at industry events, conferences, and meetings to strengthen relationships and promote the organization's offerings.
Requirements
- Proven expertise in the oncology sector, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with national oncology organizations.
- Direct experience working with GPOs, specifically with McKesson or Cencora, is essential.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in healthcare account management, with a focus on strategic relationship development and client retention.
- Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree such as an MBA or related field is preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior executives and healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical skills to assess client needs, interpret data, and develop strategic initiatives.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Demonstrated success in developing long-term strategic plans and executing them effectively.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on healthcare solutions and digital health platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards related to digital health and oncology.
