What you'll do

• Lead and manage multiple technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting plans as necessary to meet changing requirements.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate potential project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project success.
• Foster strong relationships with team members and stakeholders, encouraging open communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize project management tools and software to track progress, manage resources, and report on project status to senior management.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes, gather lessons learned, and implement best practices for future projects.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in project management and technology, integrating new methodologies as appropriate.
• Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on project management processes and career development.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of project management processes and tools within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a technical or software development environment.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana, and familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
• Experience with cloud technologies and platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, enhancing collaboration between development and operations teams.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast-growing technology company.
