What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable Java applications that support business objectives and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improve development processes.
• Write comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and system architecture to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

• Optimize application performance through profiling and tuning, ensuring efficient resource utilization.
• Engage in Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and productivity.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and design patterns that align with the company's long-term vision and goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.
