As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at Parloa, you will be at the forefront of deploying enterprise AI solutions in complex, real-world environments. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the technical implementation of our products directly at customer sites, ensuring integration and optimal performance. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with enterprise clients to understand their unique needs and deliver tailored solutions. You will serve as a critical link between our product engineering team and our enterprise customers, translating technical requirements into effective deployment strategies. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and the success of our AI solutions in large-scale, mission-critical settings.

What you'll do

• Lead the technical deployment of AI solutions for enterprise clients, managing end-to-end implementation processes in large-scale environments.
• Design, customize, and implement integrations that align with customer-specific requirements, ensuring compatibility with existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve deployment challenges, maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reliable architectures that meet enterprise standards for security, performance, and stability.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide feedback from deployment experiences, influencing future product enhancements.
• Mentor junior engineers involved in deployment activities, sharing expertise and best practices to improve team capabilities.
• Ensure all deployed solutions adhere to enterprise security policies, compliance standards, and performance benchmarks.
• Engage with stakeholders at various levels to communicate technical solutions, project status, and potential risks.
• Optimize deployment workflows and processes to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and accelerate delivery timelines.
• Document deployment procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to create comprehensive knowledge bases for future reference.
• Support post-deployment monitoring, perform troubleshooting, and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and system stability.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools and automation scripts to streamline deployment activities and reduce manual effort.
• Participate in customer meetings to understand their strategic goals and translate these into technical deployment plans.
• Maintain awareness of industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to enterprise AI deployment.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering, systems integration, DevOps, or data engineering with a focus on customer impact.
• Proven track record of leading successful deployment and integration projects within large enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in backend engineering, infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes/cloud platforms, APIs, and databases, with hands-on experience in production systems.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple deployment projects simultaneously.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues in live environments, with a focus on minimizing downtime.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and professional fluency in English, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure during critical deployment phases.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.
• Knowledge of enterprise security standards and compliance requirements is a plus.

• Experience developing or integrating AI/LLM-powered systems, such as embedding agent workflows or working with vector databases.
• Familiarity with AI tools and platforms like OpenAI.
