About the role
In the position of Sr Agent Architect at Parloa, you will serve as a solution architect for the deployment of enterprise AI Agents. Your primary responsibility will be to design comprehensive system architectures that facilitate the integration of Parloa's platform within intricate enterprise environments. This role demands a keen ability to address multi-system integration challenges while employing systems thinking to create dependable and scalable AI solutions tailored for global enterprise clients.
You will also be instrumental in shaping the conversational experience layer, leveraging your expertise in prompt engineering and large language models (LLMs) to convert customer needs into effective agent behaviors. What you'll do
- Design comprehensive solution architectures for AI Agent deployments, illustrating how Parloa's platform integrates with clients' enterprise systems such as CRMs, ERPs, ticketing systems, and contact center platforms.
- Construct and configure integrations utilizing integration platforms and APIs, applying systems thinking to navigate complex, multi-system data flows effectively.
- Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineers on intricate or customized integration scenarios that exceed standard integration capabilities.
- Implement structured testing methodologies to validate the architecture, ensuring integration reliability and optimal AI agent performance in real-world scenarios.
- Identify and troubleshoot blockers in collaboration with various departments at Parloa, including Product, Solution Engineering, Sales, and the customer.
- Define the scope of AI Agent deployments, offering strategic architectural guidance and execution support to clients and partners.
- your understanding of LLM internals, such as embeddings, to assess customer requirements and craft prompts that yield reliable, user-aligned agent behavior.
- Translate complex customer workflows into structured conversational components that can be reliably executed by LLMs.
- Refine conversational flows and voice outputs, including SSML, Lexicons, and Regex, to ensure alignment with customer brand standards.
- Document best practices, how-to guides, and product capabilities for both internal teams and external audiences, showcasing the expertise of the Agent Architect team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles within enterprises, demonstrating expertise in solution architecture, systems architecture, or enterprise integration.
- Strong systems thinking capabilities, with a proven history of addressing complex technical challenges across multiple systems and data sources.
- Experience with large-scale SaaS implementations, including CRMs, ERPs, contact center platforms, and ticketing systems.
- Proficiency in REST API design, familiarity with JSON/XML data structures, and experience with API testing tools such as Postman, along with knowledge of API authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, JWT).
- Ability to read and interpret API documentation from various enterprise SaaS platforms, including data transformation and field mapping logic.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with expertise in risk assessment and problem resolution.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and effective communication.
- An entrepreneurial mindset characterized by initiative, results orientation, and the ability to identify impactful opportunities.
- Capability to analyze customer requirements and convert them into LLM prompts and conversational flows, paying attention to subtle nuances and conducting A/B testing to evaluate agent performance.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in conversation design, prompt engineering (including chain-of-thought and few-shot learning), or A/B testing is advantageous but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
- Familiarity with advanced AI technologies and their applications in customer service.
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments that require adaptability and quick decision-making.
