Senior Frontend Platform Engineer

About the role

You own the technical design and delivery of complex features and services within your squad, turning ambiguous product goals into clear execution plans for the agent management platform UI. You build and ship the platform UI and platform improvements using our microfrontend architecture, shared design system, and Server-Driven UI library where they fit naturally. You work full-stack when needed - TypeScript and React plus adjacent services and integrations - so features and platform changes are deliverable end-to-end without blocking at the UI boundary. You leverage modern AI tooling to multiply your impact, from accelerating implementation and reviews to improving documentation, testing, and debugging, while rigorously validating outputs for quality and safety. You build with reliability and observability in mind, defining SLIs, instrumenting your work, and proactively monitoring the impact of changes in production. You maintain strong engineering discipline with clean CI/CD, meaningful tests, safe rollouts, and fast rollbacks when necessary. You respond to production issues with urgency and curiosity, contributing to blameless postmortems and systemic improvements that prevent recurrence. You raise the bar through high-signal code reviews, clear documentation, and mentoring peers, and you contribute fixes upstream to shared packages when you encounter the same problem twice. You multiply your impact by mentoring engineers, sharing patterns, and strengthening your team's technical standards and craftsmanship.

What you'll do

Requirements

You have professional experience building and shipping production systems in fast-moving, high-growth environments where speed and quality are equally important. You take full ownership when something matters, driving it to completion and standing behind the outcome even when complexity is high. You have a strong bias for action, moving quickly, making informed decisions with available information, and iterating based on real-world feedback from users and monitoring. You are comfortable operating in ambiguity and can turn fuzzy, open-ended problems into shipped results with clear tradeoffs and rationale. You think in systems, considering scalability, reliability, performance, and security as part of your default design mindset for every feature. You define success clearly and measure it with appropriate metrics, caring deeply about customer impact and business outcomes beyond just code changes.
