About the role
As a Senior Agent Architect at Parloa, you will take on the pivotal role of a solution architect focused on the deployment of enterprise AI Agents. Your main task will be to design intricate system architectures that seamlessly integrate Parloa's platform within complex enterprise ecosystems. You will tackle challenges related to multi-system integration while applying systems thinking to deliver robust and scalable AI solutions for our diverse global clientele.

What you'll do
- Design comprehensive solution architectures for AI Agent deployments, illustrating how Parloa's platform interfaces with various enterprise systems, including CRMs, ERPs, ticketing systems, and contact center solutions.
- Build and configure integrations using various integration platforms and APIs, leveraging systems thinking to manage complex data flows across multiple systems.
- Work closely with Forward Deployed Engineers on unique integration scenarios that go beyond standard capabilities, ensuring tailored solutions for clients.
- Establish structured testing protocols to validate the architecture, integration reliability, and performance of AI agents in real-world applications.
- Collaborate with different departments at Parloa, such as Product, Solution Engineering, and Sales, to identify and resolve challenges that may arise during deployment.
- Define the scope and objectives of AI Agent implementations, providing strategic architectural guidance and support to clients and partners throughout the process.
- Utilize your knowledge of large language model (LLM) internals, such as embeddings, to evaluate customer needs and craft prompts that ensure consistent and user-friendly agent behavior.
- Transform intricate customer workflows into structured conversational components that can be effectively executed by LLMs.
- Enhance conversational flows and voice outputs, including SSML, Lexicons, and Regex, to align with the branding standards of our clients.
- Create documentation that outlines best practices, how-to guides, and product features for both internal teams and external stakeholders, showcasing the expertise of the Agent Architect team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in roles that involve direct interaction with enterprise clients, showcasing your expertise in solution architecture, systems architecture, or enterprise integration.
- Strong systems thinking capabilities, with a proven track record of resolving complex technical challenges across diverse systems and data sources.
- Experience with large-scale SaaS implementations, particularly with CRMs, ERPs, contact center platforms, and ticketing systems.
- Proficient in REST API design and familiar with data formats such as JSON and XML, as well as API testing tools like Postman and various authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, JWT).
- Comfortable reading and utilizing API documentation from enterprise SaaS platforms, including data transformation and field mapping processes.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a solid background in risk assessment and problem-solving.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills, with a focus on meeting milestones and effective communication.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach, capable of identifying significant opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into LLM prompts and conversational flows, with attention to conversational subtleties and A/B testing for agent optimization.
- Prior experience in conversation design, prompt engineering, or A/B testing is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Fluency in both German and English is essential for this role.
