About the role
In the position of Sr Agent Architect at Parloa, you will serve as a solution architect specializing in the deployment of enterprise AI Agents. Your role will involve designing comprehensive system architectures that integrate Parloa's platform with complex enterprise systems, addressing multi-system integration challenges, and employing systems thinking to create dependable and scalable AI solutions for our global clientele.
You will also be responsible for enhancing the conversational experience layer, utilizing prompt engineering and your understanding of large language models (LLMs) to convert customer needs into agent behaviors. The focus of this role is on architecture and integration, while conversational design skills can be cultivated during your time with us.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Create end-to-end solution architectures for AI Agent implementations, detailing how Parloa's platform integrates with clients' enterprise systems such as CRMs, ERPs, and contact center platforms.
- Develop and set up integrations using various platforms and APIs, applying systems thinking to navigate complex data flows across multiple systems.
- Work alongside Forward Deployed Engineers on intricate or customized integration scenarios that extend beyond standard capabilities.
- Implement structured testing methodologies to verify architecture, integration reliability, and AI agent performance in real-world scenarios.
- Collaborate with various departments at Parloa (like Product, Solution Engineering, and Sales) and clients to identify and overcome obstacles.
- Define the scope of AI Agent deployments, offering strategic architectural guidance and support to customers and partners.
- your knowledge of LLM internals (such as embeddings) to assess customer requirements and craft prompts that ensure reliable and user-aligned agent behavior.
- Convert complex customer workflows into structured conversational elements that LLMs can execute effectively.
- Refine conversational flows and voice outputs (including SSML, Lexicons, Regex) to align with customer branding standards.
- Document best practices, how-to guides, and product features for both internal and external audiences, showcasing the expertise of the Agent Architect team.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in customer-facing roles within enterprises, with a solid background in solution architecture, systems architecture, or enterprise integration.
- Strong systems thinking ability, demonstrated by a history of resolving intricate technical challenges across various systems and data sources.
- Experience with large-scale SaaS implementations, including CRMs, ERPs, and contact center platforms.
- Proficiency in REST API design, JSON/XML data structures, API testing tools (such as Postman), and authentication methods (OAuth, API keys, JWT).
- Familiarity with reading and utilizing API documentation from enterprise SaaS platforms, including data transformation and field mapping logic.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with expertise in risk assessment and problem resolution.
- Excellent project and stakeholder management abilities, with a focus on achieving milestones and effective communication.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, characterized by initiative, results orientation, and the ability to identify impactful opportunities.
- Capability to analyze customer needs and translate them into LLM prompts and conversational flows, with attention to conversational nuances and A/B testing for agent performance assessment.
- Prior experience in conversation design, prompt engineering (such as chain-of-thought or few-shot learning), or A/B testing is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Fluency in both French and English is essential.
