Key facts

What you'll do

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance our OTC trading platform.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and approaches for improving user experience and operational efficiency.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the financial technology space.
• Assist in the design and execution of user testing to gather feedback and iterate on product features.
• Contribute to the development of technical documentation and user guides to support internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of new features into the existing platform.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their trading requirements.
• Monitor industry regulations and compliance standards to ensure that our platform remains compliant and secure.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in financial technology and trading systems.
• Support the marketing team in creating content that showcases our platform's capabilities and benefits to potential clients.
• Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent Otcflow and build relationships within the fintech community.
• Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing knowledge, providing feedback, and supporting colleagues in their professional development.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a relevant role within the financial technology sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, and familiarity with software development methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with blockchain technology and its applications in financial services.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks governing OTC trading and financial markets.
• Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and methodologies.
• Previous experience in client-facing roles, particularly in a fintech context.
• Understanding of data visualization tools and techniques.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in using project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
• Strong understanding of API integrations and web services.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.

• This position is based in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, and offers a full-time engagement.
