What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive analyses of biomethane production processes to evaluate their sustainability and environmental impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights related to biomethane production and usage.
• Develop and maintain sustainability metrics and reporting frameworks to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and external partners.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory developments related to biomethane and renewable energy to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
• Assist in the development of sustainability strategies that align with Bamboohr's goals and objectives, focusing on reducing carbon footprints and enhancing energy efficiency.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and industry groups, to promote best practices in biomethane sustainability.
• Participate in research and development initiatives aimed at improving biomethane production technologies and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability analysis or a related role, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and life cycle assessment (LCA) methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of biomethane production processes and relevant regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
