We are looking for a Regional Insurance Product Manager to oversee state-level strategies and enhance market performance in a designated region. This role is in driving the adoption of Openly's insurance offerings among independent agents nationwide.

What you'll do

• Develop and manage state-specific strategies for Openly's homeowners insurance program, including underwriting eligibility and coverage options.
• Oversee the state filing process and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies to ensure timely approvals.
• Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to facilitate rate reviews and launch new state initiatives.
• Analyze key performance indicators related to profitability and provide strategic recommendations based on findings.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for strategic initiatives at the state level and present actionable recommendations.
• Identify business challenges and opportunities, creating analytical frameworks to evaluate options and propose solutions.
• Partner with Business Development to gather market feedback and communicate insights to the Insurance Product team.
• Advocate for state-level insights that may require adjustments to national product strategies.
• Participate in various product management initiatives, including market intelligence and new product development efforts.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in insurance product management or development, with a focus on strategy and analytics.
• A degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret quantitative data and present strategic insights to senior leadership.
• Proven ability to identify complex business issues and create relevant analytical frameworks to address them.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong decision-making capabilities, utilizing data to support strategic recommendations.
• Experience in property and casualty insurance is required; familiarity with homeowners insurance is advantageous.
• Knowledge of insurance product compliance and state regulatory relationships is a plus.
