What you'll do
- Design user-centered solutions that facilitate significant and sustained health behavior changes.
- Lead the creation of new product concepts from initial ambiguity to defined features and launched experiences.
- Identify and define critical problems to address across both member and care team interactions.
- Manage the entire design lifecycle, from ideation and validation through prototyping and final implementation in rapid cycles.
- quick prototyping methods to test ideas and make concepts concrete for the team.
- Develop high-quality user interfaces for mobile platforms, demonstrating strong visual, interaction, and system design thinking.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, clinical, and research departments to align on strategy and drive decisions.
- Translate strategic goals, user needs, and clinical insights into actionable product opportunities.
- Contribute to the evolution of our design systems, processes, and team methodologies.
- Design and implement user experiences for AI-powered features.
- Integrate AI tools into your design workflow for idea exploration, prototyping, and production acceleration.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in product design, with a focus on developing new products or experiences from inception.
- Proven experience designing for health, wellness, behavior change, or similar human-centric fields.
- A strong foundation in human-centered design, with a demonstrated ability to base decisions on user research and genuine human needs.
- Experience designing and launching polished digital products for iOS and Android.
- A keen product sense, capable of defining unclear problems, identifying opportunities, and influencing product direction.
- Excellent visual and interaction design skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- A proactive approach to making and testing, using prototypes to explore concepts and inform decisions.
- Experience contributing to or managing design systems.
- Experience designing products that incorporate AI.
- Familiarity with using AI tools in design workflows, such as Figma Make, Claude Code, Cursor, or Lovable.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the capacity to influence cross-functional teams.
Nice to have
- Experience designing for clinical care delivery or chronic condition management.
- Proficiency in conducting user research, including interviews, synthesis, and translating findings into design actions.
- Experience working in a startup environment, demonstrating initiative, a bias for action, and ownership from discovery to launch.

- Compensation includes a competitive base salary, annual cash bonus, and equity grants.
- Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) is available.
- This is a remote-first position within the USA.

- Salary ranges are: Zone 1: $156,400 - $195,500; Zone 2: $149,600 - $187,000; Zone 3: $136,000 - $176,000. The final offer will be based on candidate experience and relevant zone.
