About the role
Omada Health is seeking a skilled Product Designer to shape the future of AI-driven experiences for our members and care teams. This role focuses on integrating intelligent features into our platform, ensuring they are helpful, trustworthy, and seamlessly connect with human care.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Design user experiences for AI-powered features that guide, recommend, and support members through their health journeys.
- Define how AI and human care professionals collaborate across digital and service interactions, ensuring a cohesive and reliable experience.
- Translate concepts like trust, safety, and personalization into tangible design patterns for AI interactions.
- Create prototypes using various tools to explore and test AI-driven product concepts.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, clinical, and research teams to bring AI capabilities to life.
- Influence the development of AI's voice, tone, and conversational style.
- Develop systems for evaluating the effectiveness and safety of AI-powered experiences.
- Use service design methods to map out experiences for both members and internal care teams.
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in product design, UX design, or a related field.
- A portfolio showcasing strong product thinking, interaction design, systems thinking, and prototyping skills on complex digital products.
- Proven experience designing products that incorporate AI, personalization, data insights, or conversational elements.
- Experience designing across multiple user interfaces, workflows, or service touchpoints.
- Proficiency in creating design artifacts such as journey maps, flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
- Comfort using AI tools within your design process for ideation, prototyping, or synthesis.
- Experience designing for sensitive areas like trust, safety, consent, or human oversight in AI.
- Experience shaping voice and tone for digital products or conversational agents.
- Experience with service blueprinting, journey mapping, or systems thinking.
- Strong communication and storytelling abilities to influence stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience designing for healthcare, wellness, or chronic care management.
- Experience working closely with AI research or machine learning teams.
- Experience prototyping AI-specific features or conversational flows.
- Experience defining or contributing to AI evaluation frameworks.
- Familiarity with AI prototyping tools like Figma Make, Cursor, Claude Code, Replit, v0, ChatGPT, or Gemini.
- Experience working in rapidly evolving environments with emerging technologies.
