Principal Forward Deployed Engineer
Job description
About the role
We are building the security foundation for the next generation of AI agents. This role focuses on integrating Okta identity infrastructure into complex agentic systems to ensure secure, reliable production deployments. You will work directly with our most critical customers to solve high-stakes technical challenges as they transition to agent-driven workflows. The position is embedded within the Okta for AI Agents team, where your technical decisions will shape how enterprises secure autonomous workflows. You will act as the primary technical liaison between our product engineering organization and strategic customer accounts. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to identifying security risks before they impact production operations. The work demands a balance of deep architectural thinking and hands-on implementation to deliver seamless identity integration. You will be responsible for ensuring that identity becomes a foundational capability, not an afterthought, in every agent deployment.
