Business Development Representative, Nordics
Job description
About the role
You will own the end-to-end workflow-first outbound motion for the Nordics book of business, acting as the primary engine for surfacing and qualifying high-potential accounts that are ready to rethink how they work. You will act as the voice and eyes of Notion in the market, translating complex buyer journeys into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with decision-makers across IT, Operations, and Finance. This position demands that you build and maintain a deep understanding of how teams in your territory plan, execute, and share knowledge so that every conversation you initiate moves a deal closer to a purchase. You will not simply make calls; you will orchestrate multi-channel campaigns that position Notion as the natural home for teams that are serious about reducing fragmentation and increasing clarity. Success in this role will be measured by the quality of the pipeline you create, the strength of the opportunities you hand to Solutions Consultants, and your ability to consistently book meaningful discovery meetings with stakeholders who are evaluating how to build the future of work. You will be expected to question assumptions, challenge stakeholders on their current workflows, and uncover latent needs that Notion is uniquely positioned to solve. If you are comfortable operating in ambiguity, iterating quickly on your outreach, and holding yourself accountable to rigorous pipeline standards, this is the role where you will have the most impact.
Key facts
What you'll do
- Generate qualified, workflow-first pipeline by identifying and targeting high-potential accounts in your assigned book, partnering with your sellers on account and outbound strategy.
- Run multi-channel outbound campaigns - email, phone, LinkedIn, and events - to create urgency and secure first meetings with the right decision-makers.
- Conduct initial qualification to ensure meetings handed to sellers are "ready to build," not just "ready to talk" - validating ICP, intent, and workflow fit before the handoff.
- Document and deliver clean handoff packets in Salesforce with ICP signals, pain points, workflow hypothesis, and stakeholder context so sellers can hit the ground running.
- Leverage GTM System tooling and intent data to sharpen targeting, prioritize accounts by signal strength, and increase the quality and consistency of your outbound motion.
- Collaborate closely with Solutions Consultants to refine messaging, share feedback from the field, and align on the most effective ways to articulate Notion's value for workflow-first transformation.
- Track and analyze your pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and engagement patterns to iteratively improve your outreach cadence and efficiency.
- Represent Notion professionally in all interactions, ensuring that every email, call, and LinkedIn message reflects the brand's standards for clarity, craft, and human-centric innovation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure that commitments made to prospects are honored and that the buying experience remains seamless and trustworthy.
- Proactively seek learning opportunities, experiment with new channels and templates, and share best practices that elevate the performance of the entire BDR team.
Requirements
- Proven track record in outbound pipeline generation, with hands-on experience in cold prospecting across phone, email, and social channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling, persona-specific outreach that earns a response.
- Sharp qualification instincts - able to quickly assess ICP fit, identify urgency, and set solutions consultants up for high-quality first conversations.
- Passion for AI/ML and understanding of API-first or consumption-based business models.
- High-activity mindset with the discipline to prioritize based on signal and data, not just volume.
- You don't need to be an AI expert, but you're curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
- You are based in or able to work from Dublin, Ireland, and can commit to the hybrid schedule that includes working from our offices on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (Anchor Days).
- You are legally authorized to work in the country where this position is located and comply with all employment eligibility requirements as defined by local laws.
Nice to have
- Experience with Salesforce, Outreach, or similar GTM tooling.
- Familiarity with Notion as a product or prior experience selling productivity, collaboration, or workflow software.
- Background in a high-velocity, metric-driven outbound environment with clear pipeline targets.
- Fluency in Swedish or Norwegian.
Practical notes
