Account Executive - SMB
Job description
About the role
Nory exists to fix hospitality, for good. The industry currently suffers from thin margins, high waste, and stretched teams, but operational intelligence can change that outcome. Nory blends real-time data with AI predictive analytics to give operators control of their margins, turning food prep and forecasting into consistent, profitable action. Our CEO, Conor, experienced this pain directly while founding and scaling Mad Egg in Ireland, which led him to build the tool he wished he had available. Today, Nory operates as an all-knowing restaurant management system that delivers clarity, certainty, and profit, helping independent and small multi-site operators thrive while reducing waste and improving jobs. The company recently closed a Series B led by Kinnevik and has grown to over 70 people across Ireland, the UK, and Spain. Demand is scaling rapidly, and we are now seeking an Account Executive
SMB to join our growing go-to-market team. In this role, you will convert high-volume pipeline into fast ARR wins, serving operators who want control, clarity, and confidence. All candidates must be London-based or willing to travel within M25.
What you'll do
You will ramp quickly on Nory's SMB sales motion and value story, owning the end-to-end sales cycle from first call to close. You will convert marketing- and BDR-sourced pipeline into new logos and fast ARR growth, building genuine relationships with owners, founders, and GMs of independent restaurants and small groups. Your day will involve running high-quality discovery and demos that clearly show how Nory solves their biggest daily pain points. You will refine and repeat short-cycle sales motions, typically 14-45 days, to drive predictable growth, while sharing learnings, feedback, and insights to help shape Nory's SMB go-to-market playbook. Additional responsibilities include engaging with hospitality operators, restaurant owners, and GMs to uncover real business needs, maintaining strict pipeline management and forecasting accuracy, collaborating with internal teams on messaging, case studies, and proof points, and driving objections handling that highlights margins, waste reduction, and operational control. You will consistently achieve and exceed quota targets through disciplined execution and data-driven adjustments, embodying the disruptor and game changer mindset that defines the top 1% of hospitality tech sales professionals.
Requirements
The role requires 2-4 years of SaaS AE experience with proven quota success, specifically in selling to hospitality operators, restaurant owners, or similar service-driven SMBs. You must be comfortable managing high-volume, fast-turn pipelines and short sales cycles, and skilled in consultative sales that uncovers real business needs rather than merely pitching features. Success demands high self-direction, organisation, and resilience in fast-moving, high-change environments, plus a hunger to grow that can evolve the role toward Mid-Market or Enterprise as you overachieve. A must-have requirement is the ability to be London-based or willing to travel within M25, and you should possess a strong understanding of restaurant operations, margins, and waste challenges. Proven ability to manage a complex CRM and sales metrics with accuracy is essential, along with the capacity to build relationships founded on curiosity, velocity, and deep commitment to customer success.
What you'll get in return
You will receive meaningful equity, as everyone at Nory is an owner, along with 35 days of paid leave per year including bank holidays. Comprehensive private health insurance is provided via Axa, alongside enhanced parental leave and baby loss support. You will have a £1000 personal annual learning and development budget plus a quarterly book budget, a £250 home office workspace budget, regular team offsites and socials, and a hybrid arrangement with 2-3 days in our dog-friendly Holborn office that includes an onsite gym. Nory hires humans and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds, identities, and walks of life without discrimination.
