About the role
You will own the end-to-end preparation of loan request packages and investment reports for commercial real estate transactions within the Debt + Equity Production teams. You will own the detailed financial analysis and underwriting of commercial real estate properties using historical financial statements, borrower models, and market standards to determine projected income and provide reliable valuation and loan analysis. You will own the coordination of deal-specific lender outreach and the compilation of comprehensive quote matrices to present financing options. You will own the collection and review of all due diligence items and act as the primary liaison between borrowers, lenders, legal counsels, and internal departments throughout the closing process. You will own the continuous research of ownership records, property transaction history, and rent comps to support lead generation efforts as directed by management. You will own the responsibility of maintaining all transaction updates within Salesforce and ensuring accurate data tracking. You will own the delivery of best-in-class client service by providing prompt, professional, and reliable support to lenders, borrowers, and internal teams.

What you'll do
- Prepare comprehensive underwriting reports analyzing commercial real estate properties based on historical financials, borrower projections, and market standards to determine income potential and loan viability.
- Compile detailed loan request packages in strict compliance with company guidelines and investor requirements, including narrative analysis, property data, location intelligence, and visual documentation.
- Build and maintain lender quote matrices by coordinating outreach, collecting loan terms, and tracking options to present clear financing strategies.
- Manage the pre-closing process by compiling due diligence checklists, ordering third-party reports, and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the closing coordination by reviewing lender documentation, term sheets, and commitments while acting as the central communication hub for all parties.
- Conduct in-depth research on ownership records, property transaction histories, demographic trends, and sales and rent comparables to inform investment decisions.
- Execute continuous lead generation and annual prospecting efforts using internal tools and third-party platforms under the direction of producers and managing directors.
- Update and manage all transaction-related data within Salesforce to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with internal controls.
- Provide reliable, high-quality client service by responding promptly to inquiries and delivering professional support to lenders, borrowers, and internal teams.
- Support the origination team through analysis, documentation, and administrative tasks that ensure efficient transaction progression from application to close.
- Adhere to all company guidelines, regulatory standards, and internal procedures during every phase of the transaction lifecycle.

Requirements
- Hold a four-year college degree with a major in real estate, finance, economics, accounting, or a related business field.
- Possess experience in financial analysis and/or underwriting specifically within commercial real estate capital markets.
- Demonstrate proficiency in agency lending, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting guidelines.
- Show a comprehensive understanding of various commercial real estate property types and their respective risk factors.
- Exhibit a strong understanding of cash flow analysis with the ability to calculate key metrics such as NOI, DSC, ROC, and IRR.
- Have the legal right to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship, now or in the future.
