This Healthcare Real Estate Specialist (HRES) role is a commission-based, full-time position for candidates seeking a career as a specialist within the Northmarq Healthcare National Group. This role allows the specialist to work on projects and with clients across the U.S. and may choose to work from multiple Northmarq office locations. The HRES will work alongside experienced senior brokers and support team members, accessing healthcare-specific data, proprietary resources, and expert support. This enables brokers to provide clients with top-tier advisory and consulting services.
What You'll Do
Source and originate new healthcare real estate development projects through proactive outreach and relationship cultivation. Analyze investment sale opportunities by conducting detailed market research and financial analysis to inform strategic recommendations. Manage real estate sales transactions from initial engagement through closing, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
Oversee client account activities by coordinating due diligence, documentation, and communication with all stakeholders. Support complex assignments by synthesizing healthcare-specific data, proprietary resources, and expert insights. Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate the viability of healthcare real estate projects. Collaborate with senior brokers to develop and implement business plans that maximize exposure to the healthcare sector.
Utilize advanced communication skills to present findings and negotiate terms with investors and healthcare providers. Maintain current knowledge of healthcare real estate trends, regulations, and industry best practices. Drive growth by identifying new market segments and expanding Northmarq's footprint in the healthcare infrastructure space. Build and nurture long-term client relationships through consistent delivery of high-level advisory services. Participate in industry networking and professional development to enhance Northmarq's market presence.
Requirements
You must possess a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business, or a related field. You must have demonstrated experience in commercial real estate and/or real estate development. You must have a proven track record in customer service and sales performance. You must be capable of managing real estate transactions and maintaining complex client relationships.
You must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to work independently with minimal supervision while also functioning effectively in a team setting. You must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to navigate intricate market scenarios. You must be willing to travel domestically for client meetings and industry events as required.
Nice to Have
Experience in the healthcare industry is considered a preferred qualification for this role.
