The Senior Director, Human Resources

Global HR Business Partner will own the end-to-end people strategy and execution for Nium's core regions of United States, Asia Pacific, and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. What you'll do

• Architect and execute localized HR strategies that align with the overarching business objectives across the United States, Asia Pacific, and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
• Establish governance models and standardized processes that ensure coherent people programs while respecting local practices and compliance requirements.
• Provide expert guidance and practical solutions to senior leaders navigating intricate matrixed environments and complex organizational challenges.
• Develop and implement compliance structures and controls to satisfy regional regulations, particularly within the United States, Asia Pacific, and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
• Analyze regional workforce data and market trends to refine people strategies and support evidence-based scaling efforts.
• Lead and mentor the HRBP team to foster high performance, career development, and a consistent employee experience globally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver initiatives that leverage technology and prioritize employee experience.
• Build strong partnerships with legal, finance, and operations leaders to drive business outcomes and strengthen market position.
• Ensure robust people governance by designing policies and frameworks that mitigate risk and support controlled international growth.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for HR best practices, translating global strategies into actionable plans for regional implementation.
• Champion initiatives that utilize technology to streamline HR operations and enhance the employee lifecycle journey.
• Drive programs that inspire high performance and align talent management with the company's strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Possess three to five years of experience as a Senior Director in Human Resources.
• Demonstrate success managing Global HRBP teams across multiple countries and regions.
• Show deep knowledge of compliance and governance in the United States, Asia Pacific, and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
• Proven ability to align people strategy with business objectives in matrixed and complex organizational structures.
• Have a strong understanding of US money transmission licensing (MTLs), cross-border payment systems, and regulations.
• Demonstrate familiarity with US bank sponsorship requirements and financial services laws.
• Show the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Exhibit strong business judgment and the capability to influence at the executive level.
• Bring experience in building and scaling HR functions for global organizations.
• Display a commitment to creating practical solutions that balance regulatory needs with business demands.
