About the role
You will oversee the complete lifecycle of warehouse and fulfilment activities to maintain high operational standards. This position involves managing daily floor activities, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring that all B2B and B2C orders meet service level agreements. You are responsible for developing and implementing strategies that align warehouse processes with business growth objectives. The role requires a hands-on approach to managing resources and performing operational work on the warehouse floor when necessary. You will act as a key liaison between regional operations, product teams, and business development to close process gaps. A core part of this position is executing project-based solutions tailored for specific client requirements and high-volume sales campaigns. You will also enforce strict safety regulations to maintain a compliant, organized, and efficient work environment for all staff.

What you'll do
- Direct the daily activities of warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to ensure operational excellence.
- Oversee the picking, packing, and dispatching of orders to ensure accuracy, speed, and adherence to delivery commitments.
- Develop and execute plans for space utilization, manpower allocation, and workflow design to optimize warehouse capacity.
- Monitor warehouse KPIs and implement data-driven strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency across all processes.
- Manage inventory records using software systems and coordinate with delivery partners to ensure seamless outbound logistics.
- Collaborate with regional operations, product, and business development teams to identify and resolve process gaps proactively.
- Execute project-based solutions for specific client requests, such as high-volume sales campaigns or seasonal fulfillment surges.
- Enforce safety regulations and maintain a compliant, organized work environment that supports productivity and risk mitigation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance the accuracy of fulfilment cycles.
- Liaise with third-party logistics providers to ensure service levels are met and issues are resolved promptly.
- Analyze workflow bottlenecks and introduce corrective actions to minimize downtime and maximize throughput.
- Support cross-functional teams during peak periods to ensure business targets are achieved without compromising quality.
- Maintain documentation related to warehouse procedures, audits, and compliance for internal and external review.
- Mentor junior staff to build a capable, self-sufficient warehouse team that adheres to company standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent, ideally in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field to provide a strong operational foundation.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in operations management within the logistics or warehousing sector demonstrating proven leadership.
- Direct experience with 3PL, parcel delivery, or fulfilment services to understand complex delivery ecosystems.
- Understanding of B2B and B2C fulfilment workflows to manage diverse customer expectations accurately.
- Ability to manage resources and perform hands-on work on the warehouse floor to lead by example during peak operations.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to coordinate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for daily documentation, reporting, and collaboration.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle ambiguous situations with calm and decisive action.
- Experience in managing teams and leading people development initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their core functions to support digital transformation.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with operational policies.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and occasionally lift or move items in a warehouse setting as required.
- Willingness to work within the stated location and schedule to support business continuity and team alignment.

- Prior experience in a leadership or people management role to accelerate team development and accountability.

This role is based in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, and operates as a permanent, full-time position. The successful candidate must be available to work on-site during standard business hours and be flexible to support operational needs during peak periods. Travel within the designated work area may be required to coordinate with partners and oversee operations.
