Ninjavan is seeking a dedicated Fleet Assistant to support the daily operations of our logistics network in Johor, ensuring that our delivery fleet runs smoothly across the region while maintaining vehicle readiness and optimizing route efficiency. As part of a fast growing tech enabled logistics company, you will contribute to a data driven approach that serves thousands of merchants and supports the mission of providing hassle free delivery services for businesses of all sizes across Southeast Asia. We launched our operations in 2014, starting in Singapore, and have since become the region's largest and fastest growing last mile logistics company, utilizing algorithm based optimisation, dynamic routing, and operational concepts to serve over thirty five thousand merchants with end to end tracking.

Key facts

What you'll do

1) Monitor vehicle performance and conduct routine inspections to ensure that all safety standards are consistently met across the fleet.

2) Coordinate with drivers to plan efficient daily delivery routes across the Johor region to maximize operational productivity.

3) Track fleet movements using algorithm based optimisation systems to improve overall delivery speed and reduce transit times.

4) Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance schedules and repair histories for the entire fleet to prevent unexpected breakdowns.

5) Assist in managing driver assignments to guarantee timely and reliable parcel distribution to our extensive merchant network.

6) Support the dynamic routing processes that help the company deliver more than one thousand parcels every single minute.

7) Communicate with warehouse teams to synchronize vehicle loading and unloading operations effectively throughout the business day.

8) Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for reducing fuel consumption and minimizing vehicle downtime across the region.

9) Ensure all end to end tracking systems reflect the current status of each delivery vehicle in real time.

10) Help onboard new drivers by explaining fleet procedures and regional delivery protocols clearly and thoroughly.

11) Collaborate with the operations team to enforce company policies regarding vehicle usage and driver conduct standards.

12) Perform pre trip and post trip vehicle checks to confirm that all automobiles are safe and roadworthy.

Requirements

1) Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating fleet vehicles safely and responsibly.

2) Demonstrate strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics and basic troubleshooting for conducting routine maintenance checks without assistance.

3) Have experience working in logistics or fleet operations within a fast paced and demanding environment.

4) Show proficiency in using tracking software and data based systems for accurate route planning and execution.

5) Exhibit excellent communication skills for coordinating with drivers and warehouse personnel on a daily basis.

6) Understand the importance of safety regulations and compliance within the transportation industry to protect all staff.

7) Be able to work flexible hours to support the continuous operations of the fleet during peak times.

8) Bring a professional attitude and reliable work ethic suitable for fleet administration and organizational tasks.

9) Display a proactive attitude toward identifying potential vehicle issues before they escalate into costly repairs.

10) Maintain a professional demeanor and reliable attendance to ensure consistent support for the logistics team.

1) This is a permanent full time position based in the Johor region of Malaysia for the right candidate.

2) The role requires on site presence at the Kulai facility to manage daily fleet activities and operations.
