What you'll do

• Lead the product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring that all phases align with Newel Health's strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and product specifications.
• Prioritize the product backlog, balancing stakeholder needs with business goals and technical feasibility to maximize value delivery.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the overall user experience.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Monitor product performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for enhancement and inform future development cycles.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing clarity and direction to both internal teams and external partners.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies that could impact product strategy.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive product documentation, including roadmaps, release notes, and user guides, to ensure transparency and alignment across the organization.
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather insights and validate product concepts, ensuring that the final output meets their needs and expectations.
• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions to contribute to the long-term vision and direction of Newel Health's product portfolio.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a technology-driven environment, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile development environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar platforms.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to inform product development.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree or relevant certifications (such as Certified Scrum Product Owner) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

• Experience in healthcare technology or digital health solutions is highly desirable.
