Key facts
What you'll do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define and implement innovative design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback, translating findings into actionable design improvements.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and user flows.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital platforms and products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance our design approach.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring that user experience is prioritized.
- Collaborate with developers during the implementation phase to ensure that designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to foster their professional growth and enhance the overall design quality of the team.
- Analyze user behavior and metrics to inform design decisions and iterate on existing products for improved performance.
- Participate in design critiques and workshops, sharing insights and receiving constructive feedback to refine your work.
- Work closely with marketing and branding teams to ensure that the visual identity of our products aligns with our overall brand strategy.
- Contribute to the development of product roadmaps by providing insights on design timelines and resource needs.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably within the health tech or related industries.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar software.
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, demonstrating your ability to create user-centered designs.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into design solutions.
- Solid understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and responsive design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to balance user needs with business objectives.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in UX design.
- Previous experience in a healthcare-related field or with health tech products.
- Ability to speak multiple languages, particularly Italian and English, is a plus.
