About the role

New Relic is on the lookout for a Senior Solutions Consultant who will play a pivotal role in enhancing technical strategies and ensuring customer satisfaction in the DACH and Eastern Europe regions. This position involves taking charge of the technical evaluation process for enterprise clients, serving as the vital link between customer requirements and our internal engineering teams. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Intelligent Observability platform, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of our clients.

What you'll do

• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Account Executives to achieve technical victories and drive growth in Azure Consumption Revenue (ACR) for Tier 1 and Tier 2 accounts.
• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, lead architectural workshops, and manage Proof of Value (PoV) or Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives.
• Prepare comprehensive responses for Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP).
• Convert customer needs into actionable product feedback for our Engineering and Product Management teams, ensuring alignment with market demands.
• Work in tandem with Solution Architects, Partner teams, and Customer Success personnel to navigate and manage intricate enterprise environments effectively.
• Provide expert guidance on the implementation of our Intelligent Observability platform, ensuring clients derive maximum value from our solutions.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry trends and technological advancements relevant to our offerings.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them understand the strategic advantages of leveraging telemetry and data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in pre-sales or technical consulting at the enterprise level, showcasing a strong understanding of client needs.
• Solid technical background in cloud-native environments, including expertise in Kubernetes, microservices, containers, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps practices, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the entire technology stack, encompassing infrastructure, applications, networks, security, and data layers.
• Proven ability to articulate the significance of telemetry and data insights to both executive and technical audiences.
• Fluency in both German and English, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with observability tools, Application Performance Monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, or Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) solutions.
• Understanding of mobile architecture, specifically for iOS and Android platforms.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, providing a solid educational foundation for the role.
• Current residency in or around Munich, Germany, facilitating ease of collaboration with local teams and clients.

Skills & tools

• Proficient in utilizing the Intelligent Observability platform to enhance client experiences.
• Experienced with Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.
• Knowledgeable in microservices architecture and its implementation in enterprise environments.
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Skilled in leveraging Azure, particularly in relation to Azure Consumption Revenue (ACR).
• Experienced with APM tools and infrastructure monitoring solutions to ensure optimal system performance.
• Understanding of mobile architecture for both iOS and Android applications, enhancing the breadth of technical expertise.
