Technical Product Manager
Job description
About the role
This position sits within the Reliability & Security function at MYOB and owns the Internal Developer Platform (IDP), which serves as the default foundation for all MYOB engineering teams building and operating software. You will craft the long-term IDP strategy and define the global product roadmap, steering platform adoption and usage across the entire organization. The role requires you to build strong, trust-based relationships with technical and engineering leaders, engaging them frequently to uncover pain points and translate those insights into platform capabilities. You will act as the primary champion for the end-to-end developer experience, ensuring platform decisions are driven by real user needs and measurable outcomes. The IDP encompasses a wide range of critical domains, including security, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability, production reliability, and Kubernetes-based application hosting. You will balance strategic vision with hands-on technical curiosity, diving deep into emerging technologies to validate solutions and prioritize the roadmap effectively. Because this role spans multiple products and teams, you must be self-directed, capable of navigating ambiguity, and focused on delivering cohesive platform value.
