What you'll do
Develop and deploy machine learning models that automate document understanding and enhance financial workflows.
Build end-to-end AI features that provide small businesses with intelligent forecasting and conversational interfaces.
Design scalable training and inference pipelines using AWS infrastructure to support model reliability and performance.
Implement robust MLOps practices, including CI/CD, model versioning, and monitoring for production-grade systems.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical AI roadmaps.
Optimise algorithms for efficiency and accuracy within the constraints of real-world business data.
Evaluate and integrate foundation models and large language models to solve domain-specific challenges.
Ensure all solutions adhere to best practices for security, privacy, and compliance in a SaaS environment.
Lead technical investigations and prototype development to validate new ideas before full implementation.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards that improve code quality and team productivity.
Drive experimentation and analysis to measure the impact of AI features and guide future improvements.
Translate customer feedback into technical enhancements that make AI tools more intuitive and valuable for users.
Maintain a strong focus on reliability, ensuring that AI systems perform consistently in production environments.
Champion innovation by exploring emerging techniques and frameworks that can be applied to small business problems.
Requirements
Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
Demonstrate proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning models to production environments.
Showcase strong proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Bring hands-on experience with large language models and foundation models, including GPT, Claude, or Llama.
Possess solid knowledge of AWS services, including SageMaker, Bedrock, and S3, for building cloud-native solutions.
Have expertise in MLOps, including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, monitoring, and containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
Exhibit a customer-focused mindset, with a passion for solving real-world problems for small businesses.
