About the role
The is responsible for architecting and delivering our physical event strategy in a dynamic market. This position owns the end-to-end lifecycle of our field initiatives, ensuring each engagement advances our brand narrative and commercial objectives. You will design and orchestrate a spectrum of experiences, ranging from large-scale industry conferences to intimate executive dinners, all aimed at deepening stakeholder relationships. The role requires close collaboration with sales, marketing, and executive leadership to translate business goals into compelling, in-person narratives. You will be the steward of our event methodology, implementing processes that enhance efficiency and impact across every touchpoint. This position demands a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable with high-level planning and on-the-ground execution details. You will play a key role in differentiating Moonshot AI through thoughtful, high-value interactions in key markets. Ultimately, you will own the metrics and memories of our field presence, directly influencing the growth and loyalty of our customer base.

What you'll do
- Define and manage Moonshot's field marketing strategy and event calendar, establishing a clear roadmap for the year.
- Organize and optimize our participation in industry conferences and trade shows to maximize visibility and lead capture.
- Arrange executive dinners, VIP gatherings, customer roundtables, and networking events tailored to specific audience segments.
- Invent unique event concepts that position Moonshot as an innovative leader and differentiate our brand in a crowded market.
- Oversee the entire event process, handling budgeting, vendor negotiations, logistics coordination, and flawless on-site execution.
- Work closely with the Sales team to structure event agendas that maximize meeting opportunities and drive a high-quality sales pipeline.
- Partner with leadership and customer-facing teams to curate experiences that deliver exceptional value to both prospects and existing clients.
- Monitor event performance, analyzing return on investment and the influenced pipeline to inform future strategies.
- Serve as the primary liaison for external partners, ensuring all communications and deliverables align with company standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of event playbooks, learnings, and best practices to build institutional knowledge.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and message alignment across all event touchpoints.
- Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with key event organizers and industry stakeholders to secure prime opportunities.
- Develop post-event nurture campaigns that extend the life of the interaction and move leads further down the funnel.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, creating contingency plans to ensure events proceed smoothly under any circumstances.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or a similar role with demonstrable results.
- Proven history of planning and executing conferences, trade shows, executive dinners, or complex customer events from concept to completion.
- A creative approach to designing memorable experiences that resonate deeply with target audiences and align with brand values.
- Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to manage timelines, dependencies, and multiple deliverables with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while thriving in a fast-paced, high-priority environment without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable working across departments, building strong partnerships with sales, marketing, and leadership teams.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25-40% for event support, including evenings and weekends as required by the event schedule.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for hitting deadlines and achieving objectives.
- Proficient in using event management software and Microsoft Office Suite to plan, track, and report on initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations for future events.
- High integrity and discretion when handling confidential business information and stakeholder feedback.
- Passion for staying current on industry trends and marketing innovations to bring fresh ideas to the table.
