Senior Field Marketing Manager
Job description
About the role
You will define and lead the EMEA field marketing strategy from the ground up as the first regional hire of your kind. You will own the full lifecycle of regional initiatives, translating global objectives into localized execution that resonates with developers and platform engineers. Your work will center on building genuine community connections while ensuring every event delivers measurable business impact. You will act as a strategic bridge between global corporate goals and the realities of the EMEA technical landscape. This role gives you direct influence over how Antithesis is perceived across the region. You will have clear ownership of both budget and calendar for regional activities. Your efforts will directly support the growth of the developer pipeline and the strength of our community. If you thrive in a setting where ownership meets ambiguity, this is the role for you.

What you'll do
Own regional strategy and planning by analyzing EMEA market trends and feeding local insights into the global annual and quarterly events calendar and budget.
Lead event execution from initial concept to post-event wrap-up, handling logistics, vendor coordination, travel arrangements, collateral production, and on-site management for trade shows and conferences.
Drive community engagement by creating and supporting grassroots meetups, champion networks, and educational programs in partnership with Developer Education to nurture local adoption.
Localize global marketing initiatives for the EMEA region, adapting messaging, content, and campaigns to respect cultural nuances, language preferences, and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales to identify target accounts, build pipeline acceleration programs, and align event activities with revenue goals.
Work with internal Marketing teams to design cohesive pre-event, during-event, and post-event engagement sequences that maximize attendance and long-term impact.
Measure and optimize regional performance by monitoring budget adherence, attendance figures, and ROI, then communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Support flagship company-wide events such as bi-annual internal gatherings and the user conference Bug Bash, including occasional travel to the United States to contribute to these critical moments.
Travel up to 50% during peak conference season, focusing primarily on cities across the EMEA region to maximize visibility and engagement.

Coordinate with vendors and partners to secure favorable rates and reliable service for events, ensuring all deliverables meet brand standards.
Maintain detailed records of all regional activities, documenting processes and outcomes to enable continuous improvement and scalability.
Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities that align with the brand and provide tangible value to both the community and the business.
