You will own the design and continuous improvement of high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines that power our global value movement infrastructure. You will manage the full transaction lifecycle, implementing detection, retry, rebroadcast, and safe recovery mechanisms for stuck transactions in production. You will contribute directly to wallet infrastructure and automation systems, implementing safe parallel transaction handling while elevating monitoring, observability, and operational guardrails. You will design systems with uncompromising financial correctness and reconciliation, embedding auditability and robust recovery into every solution. You will thrive on hard problems, real ownership, and delivering outcomes that excite builders who move value for millions daily. You will leverage AI as a default operating mode to handle manual work so you can focus on what actually matters, collaborating with teammates who love winning, building, and doing it together. What you'll do
Design and improve high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient value transfer at scale.
Manage transaction lifecycle end-to-end, including detection, retry, rebroadcast, and safe recovery of stuck transactions in production environments.
Contribute to wallet infrastructure and automation systems that support secure and scalable digital asset management.
Implement safe parallel transaction handling to increase throughput while preserving correctness and consistency.
Improve monitoring, observability, and operational guardrails to provide clear insight into system health and failure signals.
Design systems with financial correctness and reconciliation in mind, ensuring auditability and traceability for every transaction.
Build infrastructure supporting cross-chain and multi-step flows, enabling seamless movement between fiat and on-chain assets.
Handle non-atomic multi-step journeys across chains, designing state machines and recovery strategies for partial failure scenarios.
Support routing mechanics and swap execution considerations such as price impact, liquidity changes, and MEV awareness to optimize outcomes.
Build reliable off-chain services that interact with on-chain contracts, ensuring robustness, performance, and security.
Participate in estimation, planning, and execution of projects, features, and integrations from discovery through delivery.
Develop and maintain thoroughly tested, high-quality, and performant code that meets operational standards and product requirements.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers to design scalable implementation strategies that align with business goals and technical constraints.
Contribute to reliable, maintainable systems that evolve with product needs, balancing speed with sustainability and technical excellence.
Participate in incident response and post-mortems to identify root causes and drive improvements in reliability and resilience.
Improve reliability, alerting, and system resilience to support growing volume and complexity across regulated markets.
Continuously evolve infrastructure to support increasing transaction volume and complexity without compromising correctness or security.
Requirements
Must-Have
Strong backend/platform engineering fundamentals with a deep understanding of distributed systems and reliable software design.
Experience operating production systems with real uptime requirements and a track record of maintaining high availability.
Hands-on experience interacting with live blockchain networks in production, demonstrating familiarity with mainnet constraints and risks.
Clear understanding of transaction lifecycle in at least 1 Blockchain and proven ability to handle failure recovery and edge cases.
You think in failure modes, analyzing systems for potential breakdowns before they impact users or financial integrity.
Strong Signals
You can explain a real production incident end-to-end, including detection, response, mitigation, and post-incident improvements.
Experience with at least 1 wallet infrastructure (Eth, Bitcoin, Solana) or custody systems, including architecture and operational considerations.
Awareness of MEV, slippages, pricing impact, and swap execution risks, with insight into how these factors affect user outcomes and system design.
Experience with high-throughput or financial systems, showing ability to design for scale, correctness, and performance under pressure.
Nice to have
Bonus points for experience working at exchanges, custody providers, wallet infrastructure teams, or high-volume DeFi platforms.
Familiarity with UTXO-based chains (e.g., Bitcoin), including coin selection and fee bumping strategies such as RBF / CPFP.
Experience designing cross-chain or multi-step transaction orchestration systems that handle complexity and partial failures.
Familiarity with blockchain indexing or event ingestion pipelines for monitoring and analytics.
Understanding of common token standards (ERC-20, SPL) and interacting with smart contracts from backend services securely and efficiently.
