In this role, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of strategic partnerships that are instrumental in shaping the landscape of AI-native software development and distribution. Your primary focus will be on identifying, nurturing, and executing partnership deals that significantly contribute to the growth trajectory of Mixpanel. This position requires a blend of strategic insight and operational execution to drive impactful collaborations.

What you'll do
- Manage the entire lifecycle of critical partnerships with leading LLM providers, hyperscalers, AI development tools, and data platforms, ensuring alignment with Mixpanel's strategic goals.
- Conduct thorough market research and due diligence, providing quantitative insights that support the formulation of new partnership opportunities.
- Negotiate and structure comprehensive partnership agreements, encompassing revenue sharing, data licensing, and co-selling commitments to maximize mutual benefits.
- Build and strengthen relationships with key strategic partners, engaging with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Channel and Enablement teams to facilitate successful go-to-market strategies and execution for partnerships.
- Manage incoming partner inquiries efficiently, ensuring they are screened and routed appropriately to maintain a streamlined process.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, and Legal, to finalize and activate partnerships effectively.
- Design and implement innovative, outcome-focused engagement plans tailored to each partner's unique needs and objectives.
- Work alongside Marketing and Demand Generation teams to initiate and promote joint marketing campaigns and initiatives that highlight partnership value.
- Clearly articulate and communicate the value propositions of collaborative efforts with partners, ensuring alignment and understanding across all stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to strategic technology partnerships, alliances, or corporate development.
- A proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing complex partnership deals with well-defined structures.
- In-depth knowledge of the modern data stack, including technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, and Supabase, as well as familiarity with the AI developer ecosystem, including LLM platforms and agentic frameworks.
- Strong capability to engage in credible technical discussions with product and engineering leaders while also navigating commercial conversations to secure deals.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in ambiguous environments, translating high-level company objectives into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional cross-functional leadership skills, with a proven ability to foster alignment among diverse teams.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the capability to create data-driven, executive-ready deliverables.
- Practical experience with AI technologies, particularly in understanding the developer experience and its implications for partnerships.
Nice to have
- An MBA or an advanced degree in business, law, or engineering, which would enhance your strategic insight.
- Previous experience in management or strategy consulting, providing a solid foundation for partnership development.
- Familiarity with partnering with industry leaders such as Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, or Anthropic, which could be beneficial for this role.

Practical notes
Compensation for this position ranges from $189,500 to $256,500 USD, which includes total target compensation comprising both base salary and variable components.
