Key facts
What you'll do
- Draft, review, and manage a range of agreements, such as B2B contracts and internal legal documents, ensuring they meet legal standards and company policies.
- Oversee legal compliance across various regions by managing essential documentation like Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies to align with local regulations.
- Collaborate with external legal advisors, accountants, and KPMG to support legal and financial compliance initiatives.
- Assess new product features from a legal perspective to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct thorough legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in diverse markets.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Finance, and Operations, to address daily legal inquiries and challenges.
- Maintain organized records of legal documents and agreements to facilitate easy access and reference.
- Provide legal guidance on corporate governance and compliance matters to ensure the company operates within legal frameworks.
- Participate in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact the company's operations and advise accordingly.
- Assist in the training of team members on legal compliance and best practices to foster a culture of awareness and adherence.
- Support the legal team in various projects and initiatives as needed, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends to provide strategic insights for business decisions.
- Liaise with compliance officers to ensure all operational activities adhere to established legal standards.
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in Corporate, Commercial, or IT Law is required.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law is essential for this position.
- A solid understanding of commercial contracts and corporate legal processes is necessary.
- Basic familiarity with GDPR, compliance, and privacy regulations will be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are crucial for success in this role.
- Proficiency in English at a B1-B2 level or higher is required for effective communication.
- A proactive attitude, with the ability to learn quickly and work independently, is essential.
- The capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate legal concepts to non-legal professionals.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and confidentiality in all legal matters.
