What you'll do

• Implement individualized, evidence-based speech therapy treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs, utilizing naturalistic play and group settings to promote skill development.
• Conduct therapy sessions in various environments, including clinics, homes, and schools, ensuring a flexible approach that meets the needs of children and families.
• Build strong rapport with children and their families, establishing trust and comfort to facilitate effective therapy.
• Provide parent education to empower families with strategies to support their child's communication skills outside of therapy sessions, increasing therapy carryover.
• Record objective, detailed data reflecting each child's progress toward their goals, and document findings accurately in daily SOAP notes.
• Complete initial evaluations and periodic reevaluations to assess progress, modify treatment plans, and ensure goals are being met.
• Maintain consistent, effective communication with team members, supervisors, and outside professionals involved in the child's care to coordinate services and share relevant information.
• Manage a full caseload of pediatric clients, ensuring timely delivery of services and documentation.
• Support families in understanding therapy techniques and strategies, providing guidance for implementation at home and in community settings.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, including monthly CEU trainings and CEU reimbursements, to stay current with best practices and certification requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, behavior analysts, and educators, to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Use company-provided computers and work tools to document sessions, communicate with families, and coordinate schedules.

• Adhere to all licensing, certification, and Medicaid requirements, including documentation and billing procedures.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Certification from ASHA (CCC-SLP) and current State Licensure to practice in Texas.
• 1-3+ years of clinical experience in early intervention, specifically treating developmental delays and disabilities.
• Experience working with children with autism and other special needs preferred.
• Prior experience with Medicaid billing and familiarity with Texas Medicaid is preferred.
• Demonstrated professionalism, warmth, and friendliness in interactions with children and families.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage a full caseload efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with families and team members.
• Dependability and punctuality, with a commitment to providing consistent, high-quality services.
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual needs and settings.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training, including CEUs and recertification processes.

• The position offers a competitive salary range of $86,000 - 102,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
