Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Mineral Processing, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mineral processing, with a focus on lithium or similar materials.
- Proven track record of optimizing mineral processing operations and implementing process improvements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in using mineral processing software and tools, such as Aspen Plus, COMSOL, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and best practices in mineral processing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice to have
- Experience with pilot plant operations and scale-up processes in mineral extraction.
- Knowledge of lithium-ion battery technologies and their implications for mineral processing.
