Bamboohr is seeking a dedicated and experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team in Skopje. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the development of our innovative products, ensuring they meet both market needs and business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to define product vision and strategy. Key facts

What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the vision, strategy, and key milestones for product development.
• Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries, providing clarity and direction to both internal teams and external partners.
• Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure efficient product development cycles.
• Create detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to guide the development team in delivering high-quality features.
• Analyze market trends and competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in our offerings.
• Conduct user research and gather feedback to validate product concepts and enhance user experience.
• Monitor product performance metrics and KPIs, making data-driven decisions to optimize product features and functionality.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of product goals and progress.
• Prepare and present product updates and reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future plans.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product team, encouraging experimentation and learning from failures.
• Mentor and support junior team members, helping them grow their skills and understanding of product management best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in a technology-driven environment, ideally with at least 3 years of experience.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.
• Solid analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, capable of interpreting complex data sets to inform product decisions.
• Experience in user experience design principles and methodologies, with a focus on delivering user-centered products.
• Ability to think strategically and translate high-level business objectives into actionable product features.
• Familiarity with software development processes and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in a startup environment or working with emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and experience working closely with design teams.
• Familiarity with market research techniques and user testing methodologies.
• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a product team.
• Understanding of product marketing strategies and go-to-market planning.
