What you'll do

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value opportunities that align with our content strategy and target audience.
• Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and content structure to improve search engine rankings.
• Analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to track key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure that all published material adheres to SEO best practices and is optimized for search visibility.
• Monitor and report on SEO performance, providing insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization efforts.
• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure our strategies remain effective and competitive.
• Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark our performance against industry leaders and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Manage technical SEO aspects, including site speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and structured data implementation.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to align SEO efforts with broader marketing initiatives and business goals.
• Assist in the development of link-building strategies to enhance domain authority and improve search rankings.
• Create and maintain documentation of SEO processes, strategies, and performance metrics for internal reference.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in the field.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors, along with hands-on experience in implementing SEO strategies.
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, or similar platforms for keyword research and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles to effectively communicate with technical teams.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate SEO strategies and results to stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with PPC and other digital marketing channels to integrate SEO efforts with broader marketing strategies.
• Knowledge of local SEO practices, especially for businesses targeting specific geographic areas.
